FIFA Workshop for World Cup Qatar 2022 Referees Begins

Doha: The FIFA workshop for international referees nominated to officiate matches at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was launched on Monday in Doha.

The workshop will be held from 1-5 November and consists of an intensive programme that includes theoretical and practical sessions under the supervision of the head of the FIFA Referees Committee Italian Pierluigi Collina, Executive Director of the FIFA Referees Department, Massimo Busacca, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Vice-Chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee, Hani Talib Ballan, along with the participation of Executive Director of the QFA Referees Department, Naji Jouini.

The workshop will see the participation of 52 match officials (26 referees and 26 assistants), which include Qatari referee Abdulrahman Al Jassem and assistant referee Talib Salem Al Marri.

Vice-Chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee, Chairman of the QFA Referees Committee, Hani Ballan, opened the workshop with a speech in which he expressed his thanks to FIFA for its great confidence in the QFA, and also praised the participants and lecturers for their support towards this event.

For his part, Executive Director of the FIFA Arbitration Department, Massimo Busacca, stressed the importance of this workshop, especially as it represents a major step to determine the final list of the referees for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches, thanking the State of Qatar and the QFA for their great support and for providing all the requirements needed to hold this workshop with high standards of professionalism, he explained that the workshop includes theoretical lectures and practical application sessions in the Qatar University pitches, along with technical analysis and training on reading matches and their details, the theoretical part of the workshop is to be held in the Intercontinental hotel, through discussions, and video analysis.

The working group in the workshop includes a team of international lecturers and another team for medical treatment, along with specialized fitness staff, specialists in technical and IT support, and administrative officials.

الدوحة: انطلقت اليوم ورشة عمل الفيفا للحكام الدوليين المرشحين لإدارة مباريات لكأس العالم FIFA قطر2022، والتي تستضيفها الدوحة حتى يوم 5 نوفمبر الجاري.

وتتضمن الورشة برنامجا مكثفا يشمل محاضرات نظرية وأخرى عملية بإشراف الإيطالي بيرلويجي كولينا رئيس لجنة الحكام بالفيفا، والسويسري ماسيمو بوساكا المدير التنفيذي لدائرة التحكيم بالفيفا، وهاني بلان رئيس لجنة الحكام بالاتحاد القطري ونائب رئيس لجنة الحكام بالاتحاد الدولي للعبة، وبمشاركة ناجي جويني المدير التنفيذي لإدارة التحكيم بالاتحاد القطري.

وتشهد الورشة مشاركة 52 حكما، منهم 26 حكما للساحة و 26 حكما مساعدا من بينهم الحكم القطري الدولي عبد الرحمن الجاسم والحكم المساعد القطري طالب سالم المري.

وكان هاني طالب بلان نائب رئيس لجنة الحكام بالاتحاد الدولي، رئيس لجنة الحكام بالاتحاد القطري، افتتح أعمال الورشة بكلمة عبر من خلالها عن شكره الى الفيفا لثقته الكبيرة بالاتحاد القطري، كما اشاد بالمشاركين والمحاضرين والاداريين لمساهمتهم الفاعلة في هذا الحدث الدولي والذي يمثل محطة رئيسية مهمة تسبق تسمية الحكام المنتظر مشاركتهم في كأس العالم FIFA قطر2022 .

ومن جهته أكد السويسري ماسيمو بوساكا المدير التنفيذي لدائرة التحكيم بالفيفا أهمية هذه الورشة، لا سيما أنها تمثل محطة رئيسية لتحديد الاسماء النهائية لحكام مباريات مونديال قطر 2022 ، مقدما شكره إلى دولة قطر والاتحاد القطري لكرة القدم على دعمهم الكبير وتوفيرهم كل الاحتياجات لإقامة هذه الورشة باحترافية عالية.

وعبر عن سعادته بالتواجد في قطر مشيدا بالتنظيم المتميز والدعم اللامحدود وكرم الضيافة، موضحا أن الورشة تتضمن محاضرات نظرية وتطبيقات عملية في ملاعب جامعة قطر وتحليلا فنيا وتدريبا على قراءة المباريات وتفاصيلها، والجزء النظري من الورشة يقام في فندق انتركونتينينتال عبر نقاشات وتحليل ومشاهدة مقاطع الفيديو.

وتضم مجموعة العمل في الورشة فريقا من المحاضرين الفنيين الدوليين وآخر للعلاج الطبي وكادرا متخصصا في اللياقة البدنية، إضافة الى متخصصين في الدعم التقني والتكنولوجي بالإضافة الى الطاقم الاداري.
