رئيس الأركان يجتمع مع مسؤولين أمريكيين في صناعة الطيران والدفاع
Washington: Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) H E Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, who is visiting the United States, met separately yesterday with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Francis Danford, Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General Stephen Wilson, and Assistant Secretary of Defence for International Security Affairs, Robert Karem.
The meetings discussed relations between the State of Qatar and the United States of America and means of strengthening and developing them in the defence and military fields, in addition to discussing a number of issues of mutual interest, especially strengthening efforts in the fight against terrorism and extremism. Al Ghanim also met with Vice-President of Global Sales and Marketing of Boeing Jeff Shockey.
The meeting discussed a number of topics and projects of common interest.
The Chief of Staff also met with a number of officials in major US defence companies, thinkers and researchers from the Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and from US research centres.

جرى خلال الاجتماع مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات والمشاريع ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما اجتمع سعادة رئيس أركان القوات المسلحة مع عدد من المسؤولين في كبرى شركات الدفاع الأمريكية، ومفكرين وباحثين من مؤسسة المديرين التنفيذيين لأعمال الأمن القومي الأمريكية “بنز”، ومن مراكز بحوث أمريكية، وذلك كل على حدة.
