QM and AZF Sign MoU to Boost Sports Culture in the Country

Doha: Qatar Museums (QM) and Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote sports culture and history through shared facilities, community programs and events.
Through the agreement, Qatar Museums’ 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic Sports Museums (QOSM) and AZF will work together to nurture a high-level sports environment in the country.
Commenting on the agreement, CEO of QM Ahmad Musa Al Namla, said: “With this agreement we are pleased to jointly promote sports culture and history. The partnership will further enhance the positive value of sport through its facilities. We are confident that this mutual collaboration will have a positive impact on the two parties and our community in Qatar to encourage active lifestyle.”
He added that the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic Sports Museums will showcase the origins, development and significance of sports culture within Qatar and beyond.
CEO of Aspire Zone Foundation Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi said: “We are pleased to sign this MOU between our foundation and Qatar Museum as this partnership is a cultural entity and sporting history to build a high level of sport environment.”
“We are proud of this unique collaboration, as Khalifa International Stadium is considered one of the oldest stadiums in the country. Qatar Museums’ 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic Sports will be a valuable legacy for future generations,” Al Suwaidi added.
Qatar Museums’ 3-2-1 QOSM will present interactive exhibitions, inspirational collections, and unique areas for practicing activities that stimulate the spirit of participation, to demonstrate the close connection between the State of Qatar and sports.

الدوحة: وقعت /متاحف قطر/، يوم الأمس، مذكرة تفاهم مع مؤسسة /أسباير زون/ لتعزيز ثقافة الرياضة وتاريخها في دولة قطر، سيتم خلالها تنظيم مرافق مشتركة، وبرامج وفعاليات مجتمعية.
وسيعمل /1-2-3 متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي/، التابع لمتاحف قطر مع مؤسسة /أسباير زون/، بموجب الاتفاقية، على تعزيز بيئة رياضية عالية المستوى في دولة قطر، وتنظيم تظاهرات متنوعة موجهة لجميع المتواجدين في البلاد.
وبهذا الخصوص، قال السيد أحمد موسى النملة، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ /متاحف قطر/، في تصريح، “يسرنا من خلال هذه الاتفاقية المشاركة في النهوض بثقافة الرياضة وتاريخها”، مبينا أن “هذه الشراكة ستساهم في تعزيز القيم الإيجابية للرياضة عبر مرافقها، ونحن على ثقة بأن هذا التعاون المتبادل سيكون له تأثير إيجابي على الطرفين، وعلى مجتمعنا في قطر للتشجيع على تبني نمط حياة نشط”.
وأشار إلى أن /1-2-3 متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي/ سيعرض بهذه المناسبة نشأة الثقافة الرياضية، وتطورها، وأهميتها داخل قطر وخارجها.
من جانبه، قال السيد محمد خليفة السويدي، الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة /أسباير زون/، “يسرنا التوقيع على مذكرة التفاهم هذه بين مؤسستنا و/متاحف قطر/، حيث تمثل هذه الشراكة كيانا ثقافيا وتاريخا رياضيا لإنشاء بيئة رياضية عالية المستوى”، مضيفا “نحن فخورون بهذا التعاون الفريد، حيث يعتبر استاد خليفة الدولي أحد أقدم الملاعب في الدولة، وسيكون /1-2-3 متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي/ التابع لمتاحف قطر إرثا قيما للأجيال القادمة”.
يشار إلى أن /1-2-3 متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي/ سيقوم بتقديم معارض تفاعلية، ومقتنيات ملهمة، ومناطق فريدة لممارسة الأنشطة التي تحفز روح المشاركة، ليبرهن على الارتباط الوثيق بين دولة قطر والرياضة.
