Rayyan Municipality tops in building permit issuance

DOHA: Rayyan Municipality has topped the country in terms of number of building permits issued in April. According to the monthly Statistics of Building Permits, 190 permits were issued in Rayyan Municipality, accounting 29% percent share in total permits issued in the country.

The municipality of Al Wakrah came in second place with 143 permits, with 22% share, followed by municipality of Doha with 121 permits (18% share), followed Al Da’ayen Municipality with 94 permits.

Comparing number of permits issued in April 2018 with those issued in the previous month, a decline of 7% was registered.

In terms of type of permits issued, data indicated that the new building permits (residential and non-residential) constitutes 57% (379 permits) of the total building permits issued during the month of April 2018, while the percentage of additions permits constituted 39% (259 permits), and finally fencing permits with 4% (24 permits).

In terms of new residential buildings permits data, villas’ topped the list, accounting for 52% (154 permits) of all new residential buildings permits, followed by dwellings of housing loans permits by 39% (117 permits) and other residential buildings by 5% (16 permits).

Commercial buildings were found to be in the forefront of non-residential buildings permits with 53% (43 permits), followed by industrial buildings e.g. workshops and factories with 38% (31 permits), then governmental buildings with 5% (4 permits), then mosques with 4% (3 permits).

بلغ مجموع عدد العقود التي تم تسجيلها بمكتب تسجيل العقود ببلدية الريان خلال شهر أبريل الماضي (2038) عقداً، وذلك على النحو التالي: 2038 عقداً، منها 1332 عقداً سكنياً، و706 عقود تجارية بإجمالي رسوم تسجيل 2.490.054 ريالاً قطرياً.
