Qatar Airways Cargo receives QEP accreditation

DOHA: Qatar Airways Cargo announced yesterday that it received the Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP) Training and Quality Programme accreditation for 10 new stations: London Heathrow, Milan, Shanghai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Colombo, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai.

The QEP accreditation recognises air cargo carriers that operate Envirotainer containers in compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) throughout their network and which demonstrates capability in properly managing active pharma shipments, meet the company’s training and quality requirements, and pass the Envi-rotainer audits.

The 10 most recently accredited Qatar Airways Cargo stations now join Amsterdam, Basel, Paris, Doha and Chicago, bringing the total number of QEP accredited stations to 15 globally.

Qatar Airways Chief Officer Cargo, Guillaume Halleux, said: “We have come a long way since introducing the QR Pharma product in 2014, and we are always seeking new ways to enhance the cool chain for the benefit of our customers and business. “The Envirotainer’s QEP accreditation at 10 new stations in our network endorses our efficient pharma handling processes and our capability to manage active pharma shipments, which is recognised by both, forwarders and shippers. Our aim is to continue to enroll more stations into the Envirotainer accreditation programme in the coming months.”

Global Head of Partner Management at Envirotainer, Bourji Mourad, said: “QEP provides a structured, analytical approach for assessing quality that will simplify validation plans for pharmaceutical shipments. The QEP accreditation serves to align practices and procedures across the cold chain and through our involvement with the various industry associations, Envirotainer ensures that QEP is compliant with the most current best practices.”

استلمت «القطرية للشحن الجوي» شهادة اعتماد برنامج إنفايروتينر لمزودي خدمات التدريب والجودة المؤهلين «QEP» لعشر محطات جديدة على شبكة وجهاتها، وهي: لندن هيثرو، وميلانو، وشنغهاي، وأحمد آباد، وبنغالورو، ومومباي، وكولومبو، ونيودلهي، وحيدر آباد، وتشيناي. وتقدم شهادة اعتماد البرنامج للناقلات الجوية، التي تستخدم حاويات «إنفايروتينر»، بما يتماشى مع ممارسات التوزيع الجيدة «GDP» عبر شبكة وجهاتها، على أن تمتلك القدرات اللازمة لإدارة الشحنات الدوائية، وتلبي متطلبات التدريب والجودة، وتجتاز بنجاح تدقيق «إنفايروتينر». وكانت «القطرية للشحن الجوي» قد حصلت على شهادة اعتماد برنامج إنفايروتينر لمزودي خدمات التدريب والجودة المؤهلين «QEP» لخمس محطات في المرحلة الأولى، وهي: أمستردام، وبازل، وباريس، والدوحة، وشيكاغو، حيث أصبح عدد المحطات المعتمدة حالياً للبرنامج 15 محطة في مختلف أنحاء العالم. وقال السيد غيلم هالو، رئيس عمليات الشحن في الخطوط الجوية القطرية: «لقد تطوّرت عمليات خدمة QR Pharma منذ إطلاقها في عام 2014. ومنذ ذلك الحين، سعينا جاهدين إلى تعزيز خدماتنا بشتى السبل، من أجل تطوير عملية نقل البضائع ضمن درجة حرارة باردة، وتقديم أفضل الخدمات لعملائنا».

وأضاف السيد هالو: «إن استلام شهادة اعتماد برنامج إنفايروتينر لمزودي خدمات التدريب والجودة المؤهلين (QEP) لعشر محطات جديدة على شبكة وجهاتنا، تعزز من عمليات المناولة للأدوية، ومن قدراتنا للتعامل مع الشحنات الدوائية بمختلف أنواعها. وسوف نستمر في استخدام حاويات إنفايروتينر في المزيد من المحطات خلال الأشهر المقبلة».
