Closure of the Temporary Roundabout on Al Kahleej Intersection
إغلاق الدوار المؤقت على تقاطع الخليج
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the closure of the temporary roundabout on Al Khaleej Intersection (known as Al Mannai Roundabout) on Saturday 8th of February 2020, until the 15th March 2020, in coordination with the General Traffic Directorate.
During this closure, traffic coming from the White Palace Intersection and heading to Al-Marmar Palace Roundabout, using Al Khaleej Intersection, can take a U-turn on Al-Rayyan Road and then turn right towards Al-Marmar Palace Roundabout. While traffic coming from Al-Marmar Palace Roundabout and going to Al-Diwan Intersection, using Al Khaleej Intersection, can turn right towards the White Palace Intersection then make a U-turn towards Al-Diwan Intersection, as shown in the above attached.
This closure aims at allowing the completion of converting Al Mannai Roundabout into an interchange, as part of the B-Ring Road Development Project, which aims to enhance traffic movement and reduce congestion in this area.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs and the ground markings to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إلغاء الدوار المؤقت على تقاطع الخليج (المعروف بدوار المناعي)، وذلك اعتباراً من صباح يوم السبت الموافق 08 فبراير 2020 حتى يوم الأحد الموافق 15 مارس 2020، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وعليه يمكن للقادمين من تقاطع القصر الأبيض والراغبين بالذهاب إلى دوار قصر المرمر باستخدام تقاطع الخليج، الالتفاف والعودة على طريق الريان ثم الإلتفاف يميناً نحو دوار قصر المرمر، بينما يمكن للقادمين من دوار قصر المرمر والراغبين في استخدم تقاطع الخليج للوصول إلى تقاطع الديوان، الإلتفاف نحو اليمين بإتجاه تقاطع القصر الأبيض ومن ثم الالتفاف والعودة نحو تقاطع الديوان، كما هو موضح في الخريطة أعلاه.
يهدف هذا التغيير المروري إلى استكمال أعمال تحويل دوار المناعي لتقاطع بإشارات ضوئية، وذلك في إطار مشروع تطوير الطريق الدائري الثاني، والذي يهدف إلى تعزيز الانسيابية المرورية وتخفيف الازدحام في هذه المنطقة الحيوية.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا الإغلاق، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية والعلامات الأرضية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
