Human beings are born with a prior ability to learn words

Washington: A recent scientific study conducted by American researchers at the University of Ohio found that a person is born with a part of the brain prepared in advance to see words and letters, paving the way at birth for people to learn how to read.

And according to the experiments conducted by scientists at the university for newborn babies by analyzing their ultrasound, they found that this part of the brain called the “visual word formation area” is linked to the language network in the brain.

واشنطن: توصلت دراسةٌ علميةٌ حديثة أجراها باحثون أمريكيون في جامعة «أوهايو» إلى أنّ الإنسان يولد بجزء في المخّ معدّ مسبقًا لرؤية الكلمات والحروف، ممهدًا الطريق عند الميلاد للأشخاص لتعلّم كيفية القراءة.

ووَفقًا للتجارب التي أجراها العلماء في الجامعة للأطفال حديثي الولادة عن طريق تحليل الأشعة فوق الصوتيّة لهم، وجدوا أنّ هذا الجزء من المخّ المسمّى «منطقة تشكيل الكلمات البصريّة» مُرتبط بشبكة اللغة في المخّ.
