Sealine family Beach closed for maintenance until further notice

Doha: The Department of Natural Reserves at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change closed Sealine family Beach for maintenance until further notice.
Work began to remove occupancy along the beach in preparation for processing in accordance with development and rehabilitation works, and all shops and restaurant carts opposite the beach have been removed.
Al-Raya met a number of visitors who headed to other beaches after they were surprised that the beach was closed without notice.
Visitors were astonished that beach maintenance work was held during the summer season and that there was no announcement of the closure for maintenance in advance, thus they called upon the concerned authority to quickly complete the maintenance work and open it as soon as possible.
The concerned authority opened Sealine family Beach two years ago, after providing all services, including toilets, in-water seating, shaded seating sites, and barbecue venues, as well as restaurants to serve food.
As well as providing a paved road extending from Sealine resort roundabout to the beach that facilitates their access and many other services that made it one of the most preferred beaches for families to visit on public and weekly holidays.

الدوحة: أغلقتْ إدارةُ المحمياتِ الطبيعيَّةِ بوزارة البيئةِ والتغيُّر المُناخي شاطئَ سيلين للعائلات للصيانة حتَّى إشعار آخر.
وبدأ العمل في إزالة الإشغالات المُنتشرة على طول الشاطئ استعدادًا لتجهيزه وَفق المخططات الموضوعة لأعمال التطوير والتأهيل، كما أُزيلت جميع المحلات التجارية، وعربات المطاعم الواقعة مقابل الشاطئ.
التقت الراية عدداً من الزوَّار الذين توجهوا إلى شواطئ اخرى بعد أن تفاجؤوا بإغلاق الشاطئ دون سابق إنذار.
وعبر الزوار عن استغرابهم من إجراء الصيانة في موسم الصيف، وعن عدم الإعلان عن الإغلاق للصيانة مسبقاً، ودعوا الجهة المعنية إلى سرعة الانتهاء من أعمال الصيانة وافتتاحه في أقرب وقت ممكن.
وكانت الجهةُ المعنيةُ افتتحت شاطئ سيلين للعائلات قبل عامَين بعد أن وفَّرت جميع الخدمات من دورات مياه وأماكن جلوس داخل المياه ومواقع مظلَّلة للجلوس وأماكن للشواء، بالإضافة إلى مطاعم لتقديم المأكولات، فضلاً عن توفير طريق ممهد ممتد من دوَّار منتجع سيلين إلى الشاطئ لتسهيل وصول الأسر والعديد من الخدمات الأخرى التي جعلت منه أحد أكثر الشواطئ التي تفضل الأسر زيارتها في الإجازات الرسميَّة والأسبوعيَّة.
