The head of the Russian Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev said that the use of the Russian “Sputnik V” and the US-German joint “Pfizer-BioNTech” vaccines will be tested by two countries.
“We already have joint research with (Moderna) in Argentina, and Buenos Aires is currently testing a mixture of the vaccine, and there are also two other countries that are currently researching the (Sputnik and Pfizer) mixture, and we believe that this will be a very successful combination.” Dmitriev explained.
He added, according to the Russia Today website, that “such attempts are underway in many countries, and they are trying to calculate the effectiveness of different groups, and we are very open and ready to share data on the combinations, and Argentina is ready to share data on the effectiveness of a group of vaccines.”
Dmitriev indicated that the single-dose “Sputnik Lite” vaccine shows an efficiency of up to 83% against the “Delta” variant, and more than 94% against hospitalisation.

وأوضح ديميترييف: “لدينا بالفعل بحث مشترك مع (موديرنا) في الأرجنتين، وبوينس آيرس تختبر حاليا مزيجا من اللقاح، وهناك أيضا دولتان أخريان تبحثان حاليا عن مزيج (سبوتنيك وفايزر) ونعتقد أن هذا سيكون مزيجا ناجحا للغاية”.
وأضاف، بحسب موقع روسيا اليوم، أن “مثل هذه المحاولات جارية في العديد من البلدان، وهم يحاولون حساب فعالية مجموعات مختلفة، ونحن منفتحون للغاية ومستعدون لمشاركة البيانات حول التوليفات، والأرجنتين مستعدة لمشاركة البيانات حول فعالية مجموعة من اللقاحات”.
وأشار ديميترييف، إلى أن لقاح “سبوتنيك لايت” أحادي الجرعة يظهر كفاءة تصل إلى 83% ضد سلالة “دلتا” وأكثر من 94% ضد الاستشفاء من المرض.
