Ministry to sign six contracts to lease and operate private schools

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education will sign six contracts in Doha today to lease and operate private schools with national companies that won the bids after tenders were offered by the Technical Committee to Stimulate Private Sector Participation in Economic Development Projects.
The committee was headed by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.
The contracts were awarded to the winning companies after a process of studying and evaluating the offers of the investors and holding meetings with them on a competitive basis.

توقّع وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، اليوم الأربعاء، 6 عقود لتأجير وتشغيل مدارس خاصة مع الشركات الوطنية الفائزة بالعطاءات التي طرحتها اللجنة الفنية لتحفيز ومشاركة القطاع الخاص في مشروعات التنمية الاقتصادية.

ومن المقرر أن يحضر حفل توقيع العقود كبار المسؤولين بالوزارة، وأعضاء اللجنة الفنية التابعة للمجموعة الوزارية لتحفيز ومشاركة القطاع الخاص في مشروعات التنمية الاقتصادية للدولة، والجهات المشاركة في تقييم العطاءات، وممثلو أجهزة الإعلام المحلية.;
