Visitors’ violations destroy the Qatari environment

Doha: As the rain continues to fall, the wild areas are seeing a large number of visitors who are keen to be in green fields to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of this time of the year, and videos circulated by visitors on social media show that some are not adhering to the controls set by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change i.e, not setting fires directly on the grounds of these green fields, and the indiscriminate disposal of firewood and charcoal ignited in unallocated places.

الدوحة: تشهد المناطق البريّة مع استمرار سقوط الأمطار إقبالًا كبيرًا من الزوّار الذين يحرصون على التواجد بالروض للاستمتاع بالأجواء الساحرة التي تتميّز بها خلال هذه الفترة من العام. ويلاحظ من المقاطع التي يتداولها الزوّار في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي عدم التزام البعض بالضوابط التي حدّدتها وزارة البيئة والتغيّر المُناخي والمتعلقة بعدم إشعال النيران مباشرة على أرضية الروض، والتخلص العشوائي من الحطب والفحم المُشتعل في الأماكن غير المُخصصة.
