Doha: An Argentinian journalist published the last message of the late football legend Diego Maradona, which was recorded hours before his death last week.
Maradona recorded a heartbreaking voice message about his younger angel son, asking the husband of his ex-girlfriend, Veronica Ojeda, to take care of his 7-year-old child, called “Digito Fernando”, according to what was published by the British newspaper “Daily Mirror”.
Maradona said in the recording to “Mario Boudri”, the new husband of the boy’s mother: “Take care of her and take care of the incredibly beautiful angel.” The recording was published by Argentinian journalist Luis Ventura on an American chat program, according to Russia Today.
Veronica attended the funeral of the Argentine soccer legend alongside her son Digito last Thursday, she made no comment.
Maradona had five children, and his two daughters, Janina and Dalma, who Maradona had from his ex-wife Claudia Viavenne, were for many years the only two daughters the legend recognized.
A few months before the birth of his daughter Dalma, his son, “Diego Junior”, was born from another woman, but it took 29 years for Maradona to admit that he had a son from Italian Cristiana Sinagra.
In 2008, Maradona also admitted to his daughter Jana, born in 1996 from his relationship with Valeria Sabalain, who was closest to him during his last months, in addition to Digito, 7 years old.
Maradona was taken to hospital for surgery to remove a blood clot in the brain, and he was discharged from the hospital on November 12 after the successful surgery, but he died of a heart attack.
Police are investigating whether Maradona’s death at his home in the suburbs of Buenos Aires was an unintentional murder. And the home and clinic of Leopoldo Locke, Maradona’s personal doctor, were raided.
Maradona’s personal doctor denied wrongdoing, saying: “I feel terrible that my friend died. I don’t blame myself for anything. Someone is trying to find a scapegoat here”.

وقام ماردونا بتسجل رسالة صوتية مفجعة عن ابنه الأصغر “انجل”، مطالباً زوج صديقته السابقة، فيرونيكا أوجيدا، أن يهتم ويرعى طفله البالغ 7 سنوات الذي يدعى “ديجيتو فرناندو”، بحسب ما نشرت صحيفة “ديلي ميرور” البريطانية.
وقال مارادونا في التسجيل لـ “ماريو بودري” الزوج الجديد لوالدة الصبي: “اعتن بها واعتن بـ”انجل” الذي لا يضاهى في جماله شيئاً”. وتم نشر التسجيل من قبل الصحفي الأرجنتيني لويس فينتورا في برنامج دردشة أمريكي، وفق موقع روسيا اليوم.
وحضرت فيرونيكا جنازة أسطورة كرة القدم الأرجنتيني إلى جانب ابنها ديجيتو يوم الخميس الماضي، ولم تدل بأي تعليق.
وكان لمارادونا خمسة أولاد، وكانت ابنتاه، جانينا ودالما، اللتان رزق بهما مارادونا من زوجته السابقة كلوديا فيافنيي، لسنوات طويلة الابنتين الوحيدتين اللتين اعترف بهما الأسطورة.
وقبل أشهر قليلة من ولادة ابنته دالما، ولد ابنه “دييغو جونيور” من إمرأة أخرى، لكن استغرق الأمر 29 عاماً حتى اعترف مارادونا به بأنه ولده من الإيطالية كريستينا سيناغرا.
وفي عام 2008، اعترف ماردونا أيضاً بابنته جانا، المولودة عام 1996 من علاقته بفاليريا سابالين، التي كانت الأقرب إليه خلال أشهره الأخيرة، إضافة إلى ديجيتو، ابن الـ 7 أعوام.
وكان مارادونا نُقل إلى المستشفى لإجراء عملية جراحية لإزالة جلطة دموية في الدماغ، وخرج من المستشفى في 12 نوفمبر بعد العملية الجراحية الناجحة، ولكنه توفي إثر أزمة قلبية
وتحقق الشرطة فيما إذا كانت وفاة مارادونا بمنزله بضواحي بوينس آيرس جريمة قتل غير متعمد. وتم مداهمة منزل وعيادة ليوبولدو لوك طبيب مارادونا الشخصي.
ونفى طبيب مارادونا الشخصي ارتكاب أي مخالفة، قائلاً: “أشعر بالفزع لأن صديقي مات. أنا لا ألوم نفسي على أي شيء. شخص ما يحاول العثور على كبش فداء هنا”.
