Doha: The Qatar Sports for All Federation has unveiled the specifics of the fourth installment of their ultra desert marathon, set to kick off in late November.
This announcement took place during a press conference on Wednesday at the Lusail Sports Hall. It was disclosed that the event would feature 1,100 participants in running competitions and 400 participants in cycling events. These would span across junior categories, encompassing ages 12 to 18, as well as an age group ranging from 18 to 40.
The marathon will occur in two segments. The initial phase, scheduled for November 24, will center on mountain biking competitions, presenting two courses of 25km and 50km respectively. The subsequent day, November 25, will witness the second stage of the event: the running race.

الدوحة: كشف اتحاد قطر للجميع الرياضي عن تفاصيل النسخة الرابعة من “ذيب الترا ماراثون الصحراوي 2023″، الذي سيبدأ في نهاية نوفمبر المقبل.
جاء ذلك خلال مؤتمر صحفي عُقد يوم الأربعاء في قاعة الرياضات بلوسيل، حيث تم الإعلان عن مشاركة 1,100 متسابق في منافسات الجري، و 400 متسابق في فعاليات الدراجات. سيشمل ذلك فئات الشباب من عمر 12 إلى 18 عامًا، بالإضافة إلى فئة تتراوح أعمارها بين 18 و 40 عامًا.
سيتم إجراء السباق على مرحلتين. المرحلة الأولى، المقررة في 24 نوفمبر، ستخصص لمنافسات ركوب الدراجات الجبلية، حيث ستتضمن مسارين بمسافة 25 كم و 50 كم على التوالي. أما يوم اليوم التالي، 25 نوفمبر، فسيشهد المرحلة الثانية من الفعالية: سباق الجري.
