وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة تضبط 59 مخالفة خلال شهر مارس
Representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce spotted 59 violations of the consumer protection law, ranging from non-invoicing in Arabic to failing to advertise prices, products and services, in the month of March.
The inspectors also found violations that included conducting sales without obtaining required approvals, failing to clearly show service information, failing to abide by prices of vegetables and fruits bulletin, displaying products that do not comply with the announced and approved standard specifications.
The inspections are part of the ministry’s keenness to regulate and monitor the markets and commercial activities in the country with the aim of controlling prices and detecting violations to protect consumer rights.
The penalties included administrative closure and financial fines which vary between QR5,000 and QR30,000 according to the laws and decisions governing the work of consumer protection departments.
The ministry confirmed it will be firm against all those who do not comply with the consumer protection law and its executive regulations.
It also confirmed it will intensify its inspection campaigns to control such practices and refer all violators to the authorities concerned.
أسفرت الحملات التفتيشية المكثفة التي قامت بها وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة خلال شهر مارس الماضي لمراقبة مدى تقيد المزودين (المحال التجارية) بالتزاماتهم المنصوص عليها بقانون حماية المستهلك، عن ضبط 59 مخالفة تنوعت بين عدم إصدار فواتير باللغة العربية، وعدم الإعلان عن أسعار السلعة أو الخدمة، وإقامة عروض ترويجية بدون الحصول على الموافقة اللازمة، وعدم التحديد بطريقة واضحة بيانات الخدمة ومميزاتها وخصائصها، وعدم الالتزام بأسعار النشرة الجبرية للخضروات والفواكه، وعرض منتجات غير مطابقة للمواصفات القياسية المعتمدة والمعلن عنها.
وتأتي الحملات التفتيشية التي تقوم بها وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة، في إطار حرصها على مراقبة الأسواق والأنشطة التجارية بالدولة بهدف ضبط الأسعار والكشف عن التجاوزات حفاظاً على حماية حقوق المستهلكين.
وتتنوع العقوبات على المحلات المخالفة ما بين الإغلاق الإداري والغرامات المالية التي تتراوح ما بين 5000 ريال إلى 30000 ريال حسب القوانين والقرارات المنظمة لعمل إدارة حماية المستهلك.
وأكدت الوزارة أنها ستكون حازمة بوجه كل من يتهاون في القيام بالتزاماته المنصوص عليها بقانون حماية المستهلك ولائحته التنفيذية، كما ستكثف حملاتها التفتيشية لضبط مثل هذه الممارسات وستحيل كل من يخالف القوانين والقرارات الوزارية المنظمة لعمل الإدارة إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة ضده وذلك حماية لحقوق المستهلكين.
وحثت وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة جميع المستهلكين على الإبلاغ عن أي تجاوزات أو مخالفات.
