Municipality records 14 violations at homesteads
البلدية تضبط 14 مخالفة لاستخدامات بيوت البر
The Peninsula – Doha:
Al Sheehaniya Municipality has conducted inspection campaign on homesteads (locally called ‘Beut Al Bar’) at Rawdat Rashid to ensure that the facility is being used for private housing not for other purposes.
Under the campaign, the municipal inspectors recorded 14 violations for turning homesteads from private housing into stores. The action was taken following the provisions of the law No. 10 of 1987 regulating the public and private properties.
The legal action was taken against the beneficiaries of homesteads with undesignated activities, said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in a statement.
The Ministry said that it had noted that the holders of the permits of homesteads were found using it for undesignated purposes like running labor camps and renting out for other activities.
The purpose for granting permits for homesteads is limited to the private housing not for any other purposes so the permit holders should adhere to it.
The Minister said that permit for operating homestead will be cancelled in case of using for undesignated purposes.

نفَّذت بلدية الشيحانية حملة تفتيشية بمنطقة روضة راشد التابعة للبلدية، للتأكد من التزام أصحاب شهادات الانتفاع ببيوت البر باستخدامها في الغرض المخصص لها كسكن خاص فقط، وعدم استخدامها كسكن عمال أو تأجيرها للغير أو أية استخدامات أخرى مخالفة. وقد أسفرت الحملة عن رصد 14 مخالفة لبيوت بر تم تغيير نشاطها من سكني إلى مخازن، وذلك بالمخالفة لأحكام القانون رقم (١٠) لسنة ١٩٨٧م بشأن أملاك الدولة العامة والخاصة.
وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة. وكانت وزارة البلدية والبيئة قد نوَّهت مؤخراً بأنه لوحظ في الآونة الأخيرة قيام السادة أصحاب شهادات الانتفاع ببيوت البر باستخدامها في غير الغرض المخصص لها، سواء باستخدامها كسكن عمال أو تأجيرها للغير أو أية استخدامات أخرى مخالفة، حيث إن الغرض من منح شهادات الانتفاع ببيوت البر هو استخدامها كسكن خاص فقط، فإن تحويل الاستخدام إلى سكن للعمال أو تأجيرها للغير أو أية أغراض أخرى، هو مخالفة لشهادة الانتفاع الممنوحة من الوزارة. وأهابت الوزارة بالسادة أصحاب شهادات الانتفاع ببيوت البر بضرورة الالتزام بالغرض من هذا الانتفاع والذي يقتصر على السكن الخاص وليس أي غرض آخر، وقالت إن البلديات المختصة سوف تقوم بحملات تفتيشية للرقابة والتفتيش على استخدامات بيوت البر، وفي حالة ثبوت استخدامها في غير الغرض المخصص لها سيتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية لسحب شهادات الانتفاع من المخالفين.
