Amir meets President of Palestine

Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today met with President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas at the Amiri Diwan.
During the meeting, the President briefed the Amir on the latest developments in Palestine and reiterated his thanks to His Highness for the continued and lasting support of Qatar to the Palestinian people and their just cause.
The meeting also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, as well as exchange views on issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by a number of Ministers and members of the official delegation accompanying the President.

اجتمع حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، مع أخيه فخامة الرئيس محمود عباس رئيس دولة فلسطين الشقيقة، في الديوان الأميري قبل ظهر اليوم.
وخلال الاجتماع أطلع فخامة الرئيس، سمو الأمير المفدى على مستجدات الأوضاع على الساحة الفلسطينية، مجددا فخامته شكره لسموه على دعم دولة قطر المستمر والدائم للشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته العادلة.
كما تناول الاجتماع العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل دعمها وتعزيزها، بالإضافة إلى تبادل وجهات النظر حول القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
حضر الاجتماع عدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق لفخامة الرئيس.
