Qatari citizens evacuated from Iran arrive in Doha

Doha – The Government Communications Office (GCO) confirmed that all Qatari citizens evacuated from the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) have arrived in Doha.
A Hotel has been set up as a quarantine facility to be used by the Qatari citizens for 14 day period and will be cared for and monitored by medical. Additionally they have also been provided with all necessities.
In a statement, the Government Communications Office reiterates that there have been no cases of coronavirus in Qatar and encourages individuals to refer to official information and to not rely on or distribute unconfirmed or unofficial information.
أكد مكتب الاتصال الحكومي أن جميع المواطنين القطريين الذين تم إجلاؤهم من الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية بسبب تفشي فيروس كورونا 2019 (كوفيد 19 ) قد وصلوا إلى الدوحة، وقد تم إجراء الحجر الصحي في أحد الفنادق لمدة أسبوعين للتحقق من سلامتهم وخلوهم من الفيروس، وتم توفير كافة الاحتياجات اللازمة لهم.
وأكد مكتب الاتصال الحكومي مرة أخرى، في بيان، خلو دولة قطر من حالات إصابة بفيروس كورونا.
وشدد على ضرورة الحصول على الأخبار والمعلومات من المصادر الرسمية دون الالتفات للشائعات والمعلومات مجهولة المصدر.
