Doha hotels create packages and boxes for Ramadan meals

Managers at Doha Hotels stressed that the exceptional conditions experienced by the world with the spread of Coved-19, faced by the state sectors, including the hospital sector, are pushing hotels to make efforts and innovation in order to continue to provide services to individuals and families, away from meeting the demands of banquets or large tables in order to avoid gatherings, in compliance with the instructions of Qatari and global health. 

They pointed out, in a statement to «Arabs», that hotels have devised a new mechanism for services during the holy month of Ramadan, which consists of cans or boxes containing a full Ramadan meal that includes the main dish, fruit, sweets and Ramadan juices, in accordance with the health and safety standards in force even before the Coronavirus epidemic, hotels applied discounts ranging from 50% to 25%, along with delivery services, noting that hotels do not meet table orders or banquets in compliance with health safety regulations to prevent gatherings. 

Wissam Suleiman, General Manager of St. Regis Doha Hotel, said that the latter is keen to continue the service of individual external orders during the holy month of Ramadan, in accordance with the standards of health and its instructions, pointing out that the Arab restaurant in the hotel is preparing integrated Ramadan meals for Iftar and Sahur suitable for everyone within the family and delivery on request, pointing out the discounts applied to prices which reach 50% from last year, stressing that hotels are keen to provide their services in accordance with the current stage and which support the safety of customers and the community as a whole. 

Rami Al Jabari, General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Doha, said that the latter always seeks to serve the local community, so he has created cans or boxes for Ramadan that include a full meal including the main meal, sweets and Ramadan juices. And other dishes that will meet the requirements of individuals during the holy month, pointing out that «Four Points» is keen to meet the demands of its external customers, and deliver these boxes to the homes away from the requests of banquets that the hotel does not meet in compliance with the instructions regarding gatherings prevention. 

Al-Jabari pointed to the discounts applied by the hotel on the prices of each meal, which amounts to 25%, explaining that these services will support the stay of individuals in their homes during the holy month of Ramadan and get their meals in accordance with the standards of health and hospitality in Qatar.

أكد مديرون في فنادق الدوحة أن الظروف الاستثنائية التي يعيشها العالم مع انتشار «كوفيد – 19»، والتي تواجهها قطاعات الدولة ومنها القطاع الضيافي، تدفع الفنادق إلى بذل الجهود والابتكار بهدف الاستمرار في تقديم الخدمات للأفراد والعائلات، بعيداً عن تلبية طلبات الولائم أو الموائد الكبيرة تفادياً للتجمعات، وذلك التزاماً بتعليمات الصحة القطرية والعالمية.

وأشار هؤلاء، في تصريح لـ «العرب»، إلى أن الفنادق ابتكرت آلية جديدة للخدمات في شهر رمضان المبارك، وهي عبارة عن علب أو صناديق تحتوي على وجبة رمضانية متكاملة تضمّ الطبق الرئيسي والفاكهة والحلويات والعصائر الرمضانية، وذلك وفق معايير الصحة والسلامة المعمول بها حتى قبل انتشار وباء كورونا، لافتين إلى أن الفنادق طبّقت خصومات على أسعارها تتراوح بين 50 % وحتى 25 %، إلى جانب خدمات التوصيل، مبينين أن الفنادق لا تلبّي طلبات الموائد أو الولائم التزاماً بتعليمات الصحة للسلامة بمنع التجمعات.

ذكر وسام سليمان، المدير العام لفندق سانت ريجيس الدوحة، أن الأخير يحرص على استمرار خدمة الطلبات الخارجية الفردية خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، وذلك وفق معايير الصحة وتعليماتها، مشيراً إلى أن المطعم العربي في الفندق يعمد إلى تجهيز وجبات رمضانية متكاملة للإفطار والسحور مناسبة لكل فرد ضمن العائلة وتوصيلها عند الطلب، لافتاً إلى الخصومات التي طبّقت على الأسعار والتي تصل إلى 50 % عن العام الماضي، مؤكداً أن الفنادق تحرص على تقديم خدماتها بما يتوافق مع المرحلة الحالية وبما يدعم سلامة العملاء والمجتمع المحلي ككل.

صناديق رمضانية

وذكر رامي الجعبري، المدير العام لفندق «فور بوينتس باي شيراتون» الدوحة، أن الأخير يسعى دائماً إلى خدمة المجتمع المحلي؛ لذلك فقد ابتكر علباً أو صناديق رمضانية تضمّ وجبة متكاملة تشمل الوجبة الرئيسية والحلويات والعصائر الرمضانية وغيرها من الأطباق التي ستلبّي متطلبات الأفراد خلال الشهر الفضيل، لافتاً إلى أن «فور بوينتس» حريص على تلبية طلبات عملائه الخارجية، وإيصال هذه الصناديق إلى المنازل بعيداً عن طلبات الولائم التي لا يلبيها الفندق التزاماً بتعليمات منع التجمعات.

وأشار الجعبري إلى الخصومات التي طبّقها الفندق على أسعار كل وجبة، والتي تصل إلى 25 %، موضحاً أن هذه الخدمات من شأنها دعم بقاء الأفراد في منازلهم خلال شهر رمضان المبارك والحصول على وجباتهم وفق معايير الصحة والضيافة القطرية.
