بدء اجتماع وزراء الخارجية العرب في الرياض بمشاركة قطر
Doha: Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League Ambassador Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain heads Qatar’s delegation participating in the ordinary Arab League Summit at its 29th session, which begins on Sunday in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Earlier on Thursday, a meeting of the Arab foreign ministers chaired by Saudi Arabia as a successor to Jordan was held in Riyadh, in order to prepare the draft agenda and draft resolutions on the items presented to the Arab leaders during their summit meeting on Sunday in Dammam.
Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League Hossam Zaki said in remarks on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings, that the Arab foreign ministers discussed the political issues on the agenda of the arab summit, especially the Palestinian cause and major crises in Syria, Libya, Yemen and others, in addition to the permanent agenda items, especially with regard to solidarity with Lebanon, support for peace and development in Sudan and support for the Union of the Comoros, as well as the remaining permanent items on the agenda of the Arab summit.
بدأت اليوم بالعاصمة السعودية الرياض أعمال اجتماع وزراء الخارجية العرب برئاسة السعودية خلفاً للأردن، وذلك لإعداد مشروع جدول الأعمال ومشاريع القرارات الخاصة بالبنود المطروحة أمام القادة العرب خلال اجتماعهم على مستوى القمة يوم الأحد المقبل بالدمام.
تشارك دولة قطر في أعمال الاجتماع بوفد يترأسه سعادة السيد سيف بن مقدم البوعينين مندوب دولة قطر الدائم لدى جامعة الدول العربية.
وقال السفير حسام زكي، الأمين العام المساعد للجامعة العربية، في تصريح له على هامش الاجتماعات التحضيرية، إن وزراء الخارجية العرب سوف يبحثون الموضوعات السياسية المعروضة على جدول أعمال القمة العربية وعلى رأسها القضية الفلسطينية والأزمات الكبيرة في سوريا وليبيا واليمن وغيرها، بالإضافة إلى مجموعة البنود الدائمة على جدول الأعمال، خاصة ما يتعلق بالتضامن مع لبنان ودعم السلام والتنمية في السودان ودعم جزر القمر، بالإضافة إلى باقي البنود الدائمة على أجندة القمة العربية.
