Auto Class Cars Launches the MG brand in Qatar with 3 new models

MG 360, ZS and RX5 now on sale at the Salwa Road Auto Class showroom

(Doha, Qatar – 19 April, 2018): Auto Class Cars, the authorized distributor of MG cars in Qatar, has celebrated last Wednesday the launch of the MG brand in Qatar at a special ceremony held at its new state of the art showroom on Salwa Road.

The event was attended by HE Sheikh Nasser Bin Nawaf Al Thani, Deputy CEO – NBK Holding, Mr. Tom Lee, Managing Director of SAIC Motor Middle East, the parent company of MG Motor, as well as VIPs, guests and members of media.

The launch of the iconic British automotive brand comes hot on the heels of the initial new partnership agreement that was signed by SAIC Motor and Auto Class.

Auto Class will introduce the new model line-up of sedans and SUVs that will go on sale in its state of the art showroom, providing an array of services for its customers.

During the ceremony, a line-up of three new 2018 MG cars were revealed, including the MG 360, ZS and RX5.

The new MG ZS

The new MG ZS is now available in three high value trim levels – 1.5L STD, 1.5L COM and 1.5L LUX – the perfect option for buyers seeking a good-looking, well-equipped, well-built car at a sensible price. The arrival of MG’s new crossover marks an exciting new era of design for the famous British car brand with the introduction of a totally modern design philosophy. Based on ‘Emotional Dynamism’, this more expressive design language showcased by the MG ZS is set to feature across all upcoming models, and emphasises the premium experience and commitment to quality of the ambitious brand.

MG RX5

The new MG RX5 will appeal to a range of customers in Qatar, especially younger buyers looking for value for money in a stylish, technologically-advanced package that allows them to stand out from the crowd. Equipped with a 1.5T petrol engine and 7-speed automatic gearbox the MG RX5 is available as entry level standard or mid-range COM models. The more powerful 2.0T power plant is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and is offered for either COM or top-of-the-range LUX trim levels, with the latter featuring all-wheel drive. The MG RX5 boasts an attractive, futuristic design that is instantly recognisable, notably at the front where the stylish square LED headlamps, imposing wing-shaped grille and innovative fog lamps endow it with real on-the-road presence.

MG 360

The MG 360 is proud to offer the largest interior space in its class. The super-long wheelbase gives a more comfortable and ergonomic driving experience, with plenty of room for both the driver and all the passengers. With its natural exquisite design, the MG 360 is the latest addition in an extensive line of beautiful cars from the MG family. The meticulously crafted details give the car a bold and confident identity on the road. The MG 360 comes with a 109-horsepower engine, with a dual variable camshaft and a 4 automatic BOSCH engine management system transmission, along with a multi-mode Intelligent Control and a Max Power (Kw of 78/6000).

The MG Cars are available on sale now at Auto Class Cars showroom located at Salwa Road. The showroom opens from Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 AM till 9:00 PM.
