MOI: 3 benefits of keeping “Ehteraz” running without disconnection

Doha: The Ministry of Interior explained that the care to keep “Ehteraz” app works well i.e. not to disconnect the phone from the Internet, activate bluetooth, and activate the location feature, enable the subscriber to benefit from a number of services

In this regard, MOI indicated – on its official account on Twitter – to activate Ehteraz to ensure the use of multiple services that enhance prevention measures and limit the spread of the Coronavirus, in addition to presenting the latest developments and statistics, as well as receiving notifications, alerts and educational instructions.

Brigadier Abdullah Al-Muftah, Director of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior and a member of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, made it clear that “Ehteraz” app is very important and it should not be sufficient to bring it out at work gates to enter or through the entrances to the gates of malls and complexes, stressing that the application must be active at all times with all (its operational properties).

Brigadier-General Al-Muftah clarified that none of the operational features of “Ehteraz” application, such as Bluetooth or any of its features should be turned off and turned on again because the application does not play its full preventive role with such process. Ehteraz must be active at all phones and must be shown to security patrols or upon request by persons in places of complexes, work and gatherings

الدوحة: أوضحت وزارة الداخلية أن الحرص على إبقاء تطبيق “احتراز” يعمل بشكل جيد أي عدم فصل الهاتف عن الإنترنت، وتفعيل خاصية البلوتوث، وتفعيل خاصية الموقع، يمكن المشترك من الاستفادة بعدد من الخدمات.

وأشارت الوزارة – في هذا الصدد على حسابها الرسمي بموقع تويتر– إلى تفعيل احتراز يضمن الاستفادة من الخدمات المتعددة التي تعزز من إجراءات الوقاية والحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا بالإضافة إلى عرض آخر المستجدات والإحصائيات فضلا عن تلقي الإشعارات والتنبيهات والإرشادات التوعوية.

وكان العميد عبد الله المفتاح مدير إدارة العلاقات العامة بوزارة الداخلية وعضو اللجنة العليا لإدارة الأزمات قد أوضح أن تطبيق “احتراز” مهم جداً ولا يجب الاكتفاء بإبرازه عند بوابات العمل للدخول أو عبر مداخل بوابات المولات والمجمعات، مشدداً على أن التطبيق يجب أن يكون فعالا في كل وقت بكل (خواصه التشغيلية).

وأوضح العميد المفتاح أنه لا يجب إلغاء أي من الخواص التشغيلية لتطبيق “احتراز” مثل البلوتوث أو إلغاء أي من خواصه وإرجاعها مرة أخرى لأن التطبيق لا يقوم بالدور الوقائي الكامل مع هذا السلوك، ويجب أن يكون فعالا عند الكل ويجب أن يبرز للدوريات الأمنية أو عند الطلب من جانب الأشخاص في أماكن المجمعات والعمل والتجمعات .
